Information System Manager

The head of a business information system (IS) ensures the performance and optimization of the information system for all departments (finance, logistics, production, sales, customer relations, etc.) in accordance with the strategic orientations of the company, and in accordance with the IT corporate rules.

Main activities

Business support

• To dialogue with the management of the company to understand the main axes of strategic development.

• To communicate with business users to understand their functional expectations and their degree of satisfaction with the current business IS.

• To evaluate the possibilities offered by Microsoft Dynamics Navision in terms of quality and productivity for business, and manage solution’s improvements.

Projects management

• To select the development priorities for the business Information System, taking into account the priorities of the company, all the economic, technical and human constraints.

• Supporting change and measuring performance

Technical skills

• Mastery of ERP implementation, preferably Microsoft Navision.

• Good general computer knowledge: operating systems, network, development tools, main computer languages …

• Ability to design and evolve the architecture of an information system (conceptualization and modeling)

• Understanding of the environment and the economic activities of the company

• Excellent knowledge of the business activities, needs and constraints of users

• Mastery of project management techniques (planning, budget, management control)

• Ability to write specifications and possibly training materials for IT and non-IT specialists

• Proficiency in English.
