We are looking for an adventurous software developer willing to take new challenges in our growing environment. We are currently selling movie tickets across many countries in our continent. We need someone able to tell good jokes at lunchtime and be part of an amazing team of developers.
You will:
• Design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and systems across Fandango's engineering teams.
• Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack.
• Work with engineers across the company to build new features at large-scale.
• Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes.
• Write clear, maintainable code that will scale across a number of projects and distributed development teams.
You are perfect for this position if you:
• See yourself as a full stack web application developer with a variety of languages including but not limited to PHP, JavaScript, HTML, etc.
• Enjoy being a generalist working on both the frontend, backend, and anything it takes to solve problems and delight users, both internally and externally.
• Can stitch together many different services and processes, even if you have not worked with them before.
• Enjoy working with a diverse group of people with different expertise.
• Uphold best practices in engineering, security, and design.
• Are interested and capable of learning other programming languages as needed.
