Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a senior role as Communications Manager for Power Technique in the region which incorporates all the Spanish speaking countries in South America. We are looking for a dynamic and professional individual to manage and develop internal and external communications.
Working closely with the General Manager, regional resources and support agencies, you will be an integral part of the management team. You will have responsibility for the overall development and implementation of the communication strategy and the development of our First in Mind – First in Choice position with our stakeholders.
Mission
The Power Technique Communications Manager will manage and develop communications within the region through;
– Effective social media strategies
– Fluid and consistent interaction with internal stakeholders
– The management of specialist external support agencies
– Safeguarding the brand and brand values
– Working with the philosophy that ‘There is always a better way’
– Contribution to, and participation in, the Management Team objectives
Experience Requirements
The successful candidate will have relevant experience in a similar role and in particular with social media marketing. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement digital communication strategies will be important.
Knowledge
Knowledge of construction and mining industry customers and applications, while not essential, would be well considered.
Fluency in Spanish and proficiency in English are essential.
Personality requirements
You should be a dynamic, results oriented person, capable of working independently as well as enjoy being part of a team. You must believe there is always a better way of working and take ownership for continuous improvement.
You will lead by example and your communications skills will allow you to interact positively with all stakeholders to effect change.
The successful candidate will be prepared to travel frequently.
Educational requirements
A degree in communications or marketing is essential and a Masters degree in Digital Communications will be a strong advantage.
