Datacom Engineer

International Telecommunication solutions provider with long-term partnerships with operators around the world, requires a Datacom Engineer, who’s in charge to lead network planning & optimization duties of Datacom such as: project delivery, network maintenance, pre-sales development, training; performance maintenance and service product development.
Duties:
- Provide specialized technical support to Datacom elements (Router, Switches and Firewall).
- Responsible for on-site troubleshooting and emergency recovery along with our technical support.
- Perform preventive maintenance of Datacom equipment and elaborate technical reports to identify on-site problems and provide information from the equipment.
Professional background:
- Degree in Telecommunication Engineering or Electronic Engineering, with CCNA, CCIE or Huawei HCIE or other certificate equivalent.
- More than 6 year-experience at professional service for Datacom designing and delivery; technical management of network planning & optimization tasks for Datacom: Installation, configuration, commission and integration/ migration on Datacom projects.
- Deep understanding IP/MPLS network, Datacom network equipment, protocols and main solutions in Telecom industry.
Background in IP solutions such as Mobile Backhaul, Providers, Network, BNG solution, NAT solution, IPv6 solutions, Multicast concepts and deployments. - Skills on VMware interface router and firewall skill is an advantage.
- English in advanced level is mandatory.
- Good communication skills at al levels. Methodic, result-oriented and teamwork. Willing to changing schedules, according customer requirements.
