Job Summary
We’re looking for a Software Engineers to help build services that turn the transactional data we collect into scalable, innovative and accessible Products for one of the most important Ad-Tech Companies. This allows the system to maximizing access to data, decreasing time-to-market for new data-driven products, increasing the value of our reporting to customers, surfacing usage metrics to inform product decisions and make interacting with reporting more enjoyable.
Responsibilities and Duties
·Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software systems and/or applications
·Perform code reviews and give feedback for development work and design by members of the team
·Participate in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design
·Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements
·Develop and maintain thorough understanding of products and infrastructure; become subject matter expert
·Contribute to resource planning and continual process improvements
·Mentor your peer software engineers
·Ensure that applications/services adhere to quality, security, and resiliency standards, raising the bar when possible
Qualifications and Skills
·BS/MS/PhD in computer science, or another STEM field paired with strong computer science fundamentals
·5+ years of experience in software engineering, or demonstrated equivalent experience and knowledge
·Experience with building highly maintainable microservices in the cloud, especially using AWS services
·Experience working with JVM languages and technologies such as Java (Spring Boot knowledge a large plus) or Scala
·Familiarity with BDD testing frameworks and practices
· Ability to scale, troubleshoot, and fix applications/services
