Job Summary
We are seeking Mid and Senior QA Automation Engineers with at least 4 years’ experience working with web-based applications. As QA Automation Engineers you would participate in testing web-based applications and windows services while working with other testing team-members, sharing knowledge and experience to help enhance QA competency. To be successful in this role, you must display robust interpersonal skills as well as very good learning skills. You also need to be approachable and willing to engage multi-task efficiently and demonstrate discipline as well as initiative to solve complex problems in a fluid, fast-paced environment. It is a must maintaining a high level of composure, transparency, and professionalism during daily interaction with peers, customers, management, and external partners.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Requirement Analysis, and designing detailed test cases and procedures from requirement specifications
- Test new applications and repeatable testing for existing products
- Ensure all product releases meet defined quality goals
- Iterative Development and Release Management process experience in an Agile Scrum environment
- Work with business analysts, development teams, and internal groups to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Attends design review and user meetings as required
- Documents test cases and defects as needed
- Performs execution of test plan, continually analyzing test efforts for completeness
- Performs system integration, functional, volume, user interface, and performance testing on modifications and enhancements before production releases through manual and automated techniques
- Create, maintain, and run automated test scripts
- Analyzes failure/success of automated scripts and makes modifications as required
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and 4+ years in software quality assurance focused on Web-based applications, Webservices and database testing
- Strong experience writing test cases and test plans
- Experience working in React and Node environment
- Knowledge in MongoDB or NoSQL databases.
- Experience testing API's.
- Experience creating scripts using Node.
- Experience with Automation testing. A good understanding of writing tests scripts using standard automation frameworks and troubleshooting
- Experience using tools like Selenium/Cypress
- Experience with Iterative Development in an Agile Scrum environment
- Ability to conduct functional testing, regression testing, system-level integration testing, end-to-end testing, and acceptance testing
- In-depth understanding of software development processes and methodologies including their documentation and creation
- Knowledge and experience with version control and defect tracking systems
- Ability to handle multiple projects and task responsibilities simultaneously and switch among them quickly to meet prioritized business needs
- Gather, use and analyze defect metrics data to present analysis findings to the appropriate levels of management verbally and through the preparation of periodic written reports
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
