Se necesita Specialist – Procurement

On behalf of our client, an important transnational company, we are in the search of a Specialist – Procurement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Administration, International Business Administration, Industrial Engineering and / or related.
  • 3 years of experience as Senior Buyer, Purchasing Specialist.
  • Intermediate Excel domain.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • SAP knowledge.

Functions:

  • Analyse data and engage with the stakeholders (internal and external) to quantify and validate opportunities and risks.
  • Conduct analysis of spend to understand business trends and opportunities to improve procurement effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Prepare materials to create workshop strategies and plans.
  • Track and progress against the strategic category plans and procurement targets.
  • Validate with Regional Procurement leaders and stakeholders’ findings and recommendations.
  • Support leadership team to develop executive papers, write contracts & stakeholder business cases for strategic initiatives.
  • Conduct regular opportunity assessments to define new procurement strategies.
  • Conduct analysis of spend to understand business trends and opportunities to improve procurement effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Track and progress against the strategic category plans and procurement targets.
  • Validate with Procurement leaders and stakeholders’ findings and recommendations.
  • Assist in the develop of work plans to implement agreed strategies.
  • Support leadership team to develop executive papers, write contracts & stakeholder business cases for strategic initiatives.
  • Conduct regular opportunity assessments to define new procurement strategies.
  • Assist Supplier Performance Management.
  • Lead specific projects across the procurement team.
  • Manage project stakeholders and risk.
  • Develop and deliver training in analysis, problem solving, project planning & governance, business case development and other skills.
  • Operates in line with Regional Strategies and Supply Chain global mandates, standards and procedures.
  • Ensure all activity goes complies with regulation and audit requirements.
  • Input into continuous improvement initiatives as required.
