We would like to inform you that MADI Language Solutions, based in Lima, Peru is currently looking for Freelance Interpreters.
When you need to bridge language barriers in real-time, we can help. Our carefully-selected team delivers highest-quality language interpretation services in 170+ languages and for multiple industries—from government and legal to medical and financial—on-site, over the phone, or via video
You will have “3 way calls”—between the client, the LEP (speaker with Limited English proficiency), and you as the interpreter–which you will be able to join using our modern voice portal systems. You will be using the consecutive mode of interpretation to facilitate the communication between the client and the LEP (limited English proficient speaker.)
As a freelance interpreter with MADI LS, you would also be able to receive calls for our various other contracts: insurance, utility companies, technology companies, social services, and the IRS. These calls typically last around 10-30 minutes per call. While we have calls available 24/7, the highest call volume during regular business hours is generally between 09:00 AM EST to 6:00 PM EST
About the job:
- The schedule is completely up to you; however, we do recommend a minimum of 30 hours per week.
- The hours to work is between 6:00am to 6:00pm EST.
- We pay per minute talked.
- We pay with paypal, moneygram, westerunion, payoneer, Bank transfer, etc.
- The job is work from home, you just need Internet connection, a computer and a headset with a microphone.
- We do work on weekends; however, the volume is low.
- You will be receiving calls from commercial clients as Hospitals, Police Stations, etc.
