Overview:

Our client is looking for QA engineers to play a critical role in the success of their product as their focus is to deliver outcomes to customers with very high quality. With a solid understanding of the technical and non-technical specifications of the product, their geographically distributed team gets involved from the early stages in the SDLC to produce outputs that meet the quality gates stated across the path to production. Working closely with development teams to drive the adoption of tools and promote the implementation of agile testing practices that improve the quality of our releases.

You will be working with the first Intelligent Revenue Management Platform built for the digital-selling and remote sales era.

As part of the team you will:

-Be a vocal proponent of QA in every phase of product development, from design through deployment and more.

-Collaborate with cross-team (web, desktop, mobile) peers—software engineers, product managers, and other QA engineers.

-Actively participate in testing product requirements around functionality, usability, performance, workflow, and robustness. Also, develop test strategies, project plans

-Analyze test execution results (manual and automated), report status of test cycles and defects

-Perform defect tracking and participate in bug triage meetings

-Help troubleshoot issues

-Adopt appropriate QA practices and tools (manual exploration, test automation, performance/stress testing, and beyond) to ensure timely high-quality delivery.

-Ability to take individual ownership of projects, while working in a cross-functional team environment.

Key qualifications and skills to succeed in this role: 

-Advanced English (spoken and written)

-5+ years of hands-on experience in QA Engineering.

-Experience writing test plans, detailed test cases, and other formal test documentation.

-Ability to troubleshoot and analyze issues to root cause, ideally at the code or log level.

-Experience with web browser testing

-Hands-on experience in testing APIs using tools like Postman

-Experience working in a CI / CD environment (like Jenkins, TeamCity, CircleCi, etc) for executing automated tests and scripts

Desired:

-Experience with collaboration and productivity tools such as Confluence, JIRA, and test case management tools (like TestRail, Xray/Zephyr for JIRA, etc.).

-Experience with version control systems like Git.

-Experience with Chrome Dev Tools.

-Strong motivation, high level of commitment, proactive and positive attitude

-Great problem-solving skills and detail-oriented approach
