Overview of the Role:
The ideal candidate will perform software quality assurance testing across different Financial product domains and is proficient with various automation tools and techniques. The individual should be highly experienced with functional testing, possess good automation testing skills, and take ownership of items independently while tracking to closure. The candidate will liaise with global teams to understand requirements, create test cases (e-g-, unit, component, multi-component), as well as automate and deliver projects.
As part of the team, you will:
-Individual RESTful API’s
-Develop utilities and customized frameworks aligning with DevOps practices
-Scalability/Stress/Load – increase test load to observe system behavior at breakpoint
-Track test metrics, such as test coverage, defect densities, and open defect counts, to gain and share insights about quality issues.
-Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases following company standards within required
-Geo-distributed to access latency impact
-Execution in Azure, Kubernetes across various geographic regions
-On schedule, daily
-Scripts must execute against multiple environments – Test, UAT, HotFix, etc..–Data independence/cleanup
-External environment bags to accommodate environmental specifics
-Execution must always be green unless a product defect
-Custom dashboards in Grafana
-Comprehensive business flows
-Hundreds of concurrent runs simulating a large number of different types of users running various business flows in different geographic regions
-Executing in Docker containers
-Integrate regression and performance (maybe even headless UI) with Azure deployment pipelines
Key qualifications and skills to succeed in this role:
-Advanced English (spoken and written)
-3+ years of experience in:-JavaScript – TypeScript
-Node-js
-K6-io framework
-cypress-io framework
-Dockers
-Grafana
-Kubernetes
-Azure DevOps
-Experience in services/API testing and automation
-Restful services
-Browser performance testing – Performance API
Nice to have:
-Messaging/eventing infrastructures-Azure Service Bus
-Knative Eventing
